Today with the Nowhere Group

I attended a great day-long seminar today, described as a Creative Dialogue, hosted by the Nowhere Group in association with Henley Business School. The topic was Building and Leading Cultures of Innovation.
The day featured two keynotes, both insightful and provocative, by
- Bob Johansen, Distinguished Fellow and former CEO of the Institute for the Future, and author (most recently) of Leaders Make the Future: Ten New Leadership Skills for an Uncertain World
- Bill Isaacs, senior lecturer at MIT’s Sloan School of Management, founder and president of Dialogos, and author of Dialogue: The Art of Thinking Together.
The day was expertly organized, facilitated and produced by the Nowhere Group team, led on stage by CEO Nick Udall. I’ve heard of this organization from friends and colleagues, but this was my first time to see and participate in their work in person. I have little doubt that they are doing pathbreaking work with their corporate and public sector clients to create great leadership cultures for the 21st century. I look forward to writing more about the day, the speakers, and Nowhere Group in the coming days.
